Made with 100% fresh ginger, monk fruit & pure sugar. Fresh ginger taste and only 66 calories. Bruce Cost is one of the nation's leading authorities on Asian food. Bruce's career includes two James Beard nominations as best chef in California, three cookbooks and hundreds of articles including pieces in the New York Times, Gourmet, Food & Wine magazine, and the Washington Post. In her introduction to Bruce's book on Asian ingredients, Alice Waters called him, one of the greatest cooks I have ever known. In 1984, Bruce wrote Ginger East to West, a small award-winning cookbook that traced ginger's origins and journey around the world, including the history of ginger ale. In 1989, he introduced his own version to patrons of his 4-star Monsoon restaurant in San Francisco. Finally, 14 restaurants later and after selling over 4 million glasses, he bottled his all-fresh ginger product under his name with his partners, Joseph and Terry Tang. Have a refreshing. 99 calories. A little brewery. A light brew. The lightest shiner in town. Kosmos Spoetzl and his little brewery: The Little Brewery was established in Shiner, Texas, in 1 909 by German and Czech immigrant Farmers eager to satisfy their thirst for the Old World brews of their homelands. In 1 914, they hired Bavarian brewmaster Kosmos Spoetzl, whose recipes, expertise and passion for brewing excellence served as the basis of Shiner's first official beer, known today as Shiner Blonde. In March 1915, Kosmos purchased the Shiner Brewery and thus began his 35-year stewardship. During that time, the brewery remained in operation throughout Prohibition (1920-1933) by making ice and near beer, and later went on to enjoy steady growth and prosperity as Shiner Beers became a local favorite. In the late 1940's, Kosmos oversaw an addition to the brewery that introduced the distinctive white-brick facade that defines the building today. In tribute to our original brewmaster, the home of Shiner Beers is still known as the K. Spoetzl Brewery. Every drop of Shiner is still brewed and bottled in Shiner. We continue to handcraft beer with the same pride Kosmos Spoetzl put into every bottle over a century ago. We invite you to visit us in Shiner to see for yourself - we'll save a cold one for you. The folks at the little brewery in Shiner, TX (pop 2,070) are proud of this refreshing, 99-calorie addition to the Spoetzl family of beers. It's brewed with the same handcrafted, small-batch pride you expert from Shiner, delivering a unique light beer. So when you're looking for a smooth, easy-drinking brew, pick up an ice-cold Shiner Light Blonde. It's light done right.

Limited release. E.K. Ross would have enjoyed our suffering in 2010 when we realized that we couldn't brew our beloved BrownShugga' Ale, but in that time of our deepest despair, as is common to artists everywhere - broke, hung-over, abandoned by the muse - and prepared to take a job at Arby's, we found in that darkness a spark of inspiration that would yield up this nearly sanctified hop slathered recipe tragically named The Lagunitas Sucks Ale, and now in 2012 we are stuck with it - could be worse. www.Lagunitas.com. Say - lah-goo-knee-tuss. O.G. 1.085. I.B.U. 63.21. We suck. Doggone good. How'za bout trying one of our other beers! Maybe a - homicidally hoppy - Lagunitas IPA India pale ale - or maybe a crispy clean - Lagunitas PILS Czech style pilsner - Whatever. Beer speaks. People mumble. The fall of 2011 brought with it the sad realization that we could not make the annual plan to wrangle with our most difficult brew, the BrownShugga' Ale. E.K. Ross would have enjoyed our suffering as we moved through her stages toward acceptance final, but in that time of our deepest despair, as is common to artists every; broke, hungover, abandoned by the muse and prepared to take a job at Arby's, we found in that darkness the spark of inspiration that would yield up the nearly sanctified recipe for the tragically named beer that we call the Lagunitas Sucks Ale. This is that beer. In the tale of the farmer with a lost ox, the last stages are all that matter and in those desperate final moments, salvation is found. Having named the beer in that moment of darkness we are now bound to it and it to us as an act of supplication and this name we now wear with a heart full of gratitude, humble and penitent before the recipe's creator; the muse of brewers everywhere. Come on by to hang out sometime or just give us a call! 707-769-4495. Cheers! Life is uncertain. Don't sip. The Lagunitas Brewing Company Petaluma, California. Brewed in Sonoma County Calif. Since 1993.

Inspired by the great Trappist ales, our complex Belgian Style Pale Ale is fermented with the wild yeast Brettanomyces. Matilda pours a golden sunrise color with dried fruit and clove aromas, a spicy yeast flavor, and a satisfying dry finish. According to legend, a grateful Countess Matilda founded a monastery where, over centuries, monks have been brewing ale unique in character. While in Belgium, we were inspired by the story and the monks' beer. We returned to Chicago and brewed our homage--a Belgian Style Pale Ale named Matilda. We don't need to be the only beer you drink. We just want to be the best beer you drink. Goose Island Beer Company was born Friday, May 13, 1988. We remain relentless in our craft. We live to experiment and explore, constantly innovating how we brew and age our beer. We re-invent old world styles and have created a few new ones along the way. Always with the intent to challenge and delight beer lovers. Because like you, we love discovering a great beer. 7% Alcohol by Volume Develops in the Bottle Over 5 Years
